Had an 8th grader come to see me and ask about elements, so I thought I’d post this. I always think it’s from Dartmouth, but it’s Nottingham. It’s a great site. They’ve made videos about every element on the periodic table.
This one has pictures of the element for all but a few. It’s typically listed as the “Most Beautiful Periodic Table.”

Metalloids aren’t metals or nonmetals. Use the periodic table I added to finish your homework. It should help. I think the metalloids are yellow.
OK I couldn’t figure out because Mrs.Martin said that they were either metals or nonmetals.

No, she said they’re NEITHER metals or nonmetals. They have some properties of both.
OK I must of heard wrong.

First of all, there are no “REAL” colors. Just whatever color a person chooses. But I’m adding the directions for this table in the post.

I don’t understand what you’re confused about. Just look at the directions, then look at the table. For instance, the directions say to color the lathanides red. So look at the table on the site to see where they are. They’re green on that table. So color the same ones on your table that are in the lathanides row red.
