Thursday, January 19 – Today in Class and Homework

Learning Target – I can find volume and mass of irregular and regular objects.

Lab Day!  Again!  Tired of them yet?

We learned how to find the volume of shapes, even if we couldn’t use a ruler to measure the sides.  We practiced using our graduated cylinders and our metric measuring skills.  Excellent job, guys!  We’ll finish tomorrow and then find the density of the objects as well.

Homework – Everyone is writing their proposal for their research project.  You have a form to use for that.  If you want to type it, that will be great.  Just remember you have to name your topic, tell why you chose it, what it has to do with science, what you already know, and what you plan on doing for your presentation.

1st, 2nd, and 4th period have an extra homework assignment.  They are to do an extra sheet on chemical and physical changes.
