Learning Target – I can identify chemical and physical changes and properties and use them to identify an unknown substance.

Most classes got to test unknowns today to see if they could figure out what they were.  Some did better than others.  We’ll get about 10 minutes in class tomorrow for those who didn’t get their first one and for those who’d like to earn some bonus points to do a second one.

Today’s homework was a reading sheet with questions on changes and properties.

Hey, kiddo! Sorry I didn’t answer sooner. I’ve been busy. Sounds like things are going fairly well. Why are you taking Biomed? I know your grades are usually pretty good, so it must be hard.

Miss you, too. I was at the high school today, but not for very long and not on the freshman wing. I saw a few people. Ellie was in math class. Mostly upper classman, though.

Hello, in regards to the homework worksheet sent home today, 02/02/12. Family Ties worksheet. On the back side, They are supposed to color in the periodic table using different colors. We know which colors she needs to use. We do not know where to use the colors. Could you possibly tell me where to use the different colors on the table, in other words, what categories go with each color?
    Thank you

Mr. Defew, I sent an email reply to you, but I’m going to go ahead and edit this post, adding the directions.
