Learning target – I can graphically represent data.  I can model convection currents.

We finished up our graphs and shared with them others to look for errors.  Graphs are looking alot better, guys!

We also did a quick lab on convection currents.  A little messy, but not bad.

Well, today we went over our midterm and then talked about what’s to come.  Tomorrow, we’re doing some graphing.  Wednesday, we’ll be doing a couple of small labs.  Ladies, please remember to pull your hair back!  Thursday, we’ll be looking at possibly building hovercrafts, but if not, I have something else in mind, so don’t worry about that.  Friday, we’ll be looking at research topics and getting ready for papers and presentations.

Learning Target – I can demonstrate an understanding of forces and motion.

Well, today we ended up looking at ThinkLink scores in my afternoon classes.  Morning classes started working on an activity to design a skatepark or playground and label Newton’s Laws and vocabulary words.  We’ll finish in class or take it home for homework Thursday.
